Sri Rama Navami 2011 Festival Report

HG Hare Krishna prabhu led ecstatic bhajans, which were followed by Siksasthaka prayers by the Gurukula kids, and HG Vijaya prabhu inspired everyone with his wonderful lecture on the pastimes of Lord Ramachandra.

Drama performed by the devotees, from Ramayana, was the central attraction of the festival. Lord Ram hunting the Deer, Ravana's abduction of mother Sita, Jatayu trying to save mother Sita and Hanuman's meeting with Lord Ram, Hanuman building the bridge and finally Lord Rama's killing of Ravana were the main events enacted. Everyone was captivated by the wonderful pastimes of Lord Ram and his associates. Drama was followed by ecstatic kirtan and Arati.

At the end sumptuous Prasadam was distributed to all visitors and guests.
